pollipazzi's 365 project

here are some pictures i took this morning when i walked down to the shop.

a man drives this little tractor to the shop almost every day it seems. it's a cute little tractor 😊

this car had some sort of feed coming out onto his bumper. the crows were all over it when i walked up. also in this picture you can see a big tractor with the slurry thing hooked up to the back. if you don't know what slurry is, it's liquid cow poop that they spray on the fields to fertilise. so you can guess what ireland smells like this time of year.

the petrol prices are by the litre, so it's bad here too.

also. we had a roofer here this morning to have a look at a leak. the chickens were a little nervous.

who's THAT guy?

i just want to add this.
you probably won't think it's as funny as i do, but i wanted to put it here so i can look back later and remember it.

we're just back from the supermarket, where my husband decided he was going to buy a crate of these little oranges.

there's only the two of us in the house, so i don't know why he thinks we need so many.
but there he was, trying to put one of the crates in the trolley, when the top came off and all of the oranges spilled out onto the floor and were rolling all around the place.
i was down the aisle a bit so i just stood and watched him scrambling to pick them all up. he was mortified. and i could not stop laughing.
another laughing lady came by and said "just keep walking."
i said "i don't know him!" 😂

anyway. i guess you had to be there. i wish i had videoed it so i could laugh and laugh.

We have these things called "cuties", which are a clementine and similar to what I think you guys would call a satsuma. They come in those plastic netting bags, like you get bulk garlic or onions in. My daughter likes taking a couple in her snack bag to school for practices. (cheerleader and she also does sports med for the sports teams).

Anyway, a couple weeks ago, I hear her shouting at the pigs and dogs, so I go downstairs to see what is going on. Charlotte (our aussie shepherd) and gotten up to the counter to steal the bag of dog treats that was behind the bag of cuties, and subsequently knocked both onto the floor. Then Penelope (mini pig) had come over and stolen the cuties.

So we had 3 dogs destroying the puppy treats, a pig with a net bag of cuties stuck on her snout, and my daughter standing in between, giggling and shouting at all 4 of them.

All to say, I feel your hubby's pain. :p
