Poly-Vi-Sol dosage question.

I purchased Poly-Vi-Sol to supplement my birds but I am unsure of how much to put in their water. How much per gallon for healthy birds?

I also have one meat bird that is weak, I have separated it from the others and I want to give him vitamins too but I don't want to overdose. How much per dropper for a sick bird?

If I remember correctly, some say 3 drops in the beak, some say 5 drops per bird once a day. And I believe its the one without iron added.

The sick birds, I'd say. And maybe you should split the difference and do 4 drops, LOL. The one that has iron plainly says on the box, "With Iron" or wording to that effect, so you're good on that count.

The one with iron is Tri-Vi-Sol.

I looked at Walmart today because mine is old.

Enfamil Polyvisol with iron - it can be in 2 different boxes.

Get the one WITHOUT iron

I could not find the older tri-vi-sol.

Mine has a gold top but does not say "with iron".

If I want to mix it in the water how much should I use?

Are you sure ? In Chile i only found Tri-vi-sol and I think is withouth iron
