:( That is so sad...
Yeah...I was extremely bummed. Those raccoons got a lot of my birds but those were the ones that I was most concerned about. I've lost so few birds over the years...these attacks are more than 4X what I've lost over the years. I only lost one to a raccoon the first 4 years or so. This year has been awful!

Lighting and angle are so important with these guys. Here is a young black cockerel and his colors are really coming in. It seems like light shade plus just the right angle gives the best results.

Hi Yashar. Mayah from Colorado. Your birds are still in their own area. I have had many a baby chick. I let them do their own thing.

Ponape grandma is 6 years old now and the matriarch with Asshole the Collonca. During the last blizzard, the coop toppled and by the time I made it to her, she was covered in ice. Every single bird made it though. Now they have an 8x8 with porch on a concrete pad, bolted down.

I didn't have many birds from you but have cared for the varieties you sent. For genetic diversity, I let them breed together.

I have never culled a rooster from this flock. I actually have an abundance of boys because of it. But they get along.

They have been loved and cared for. I haven't sold any but given a couple to my sister. I do love these birds.

Does anyone sell Ponape eggs or chicks! I’m trying to add some diversity to my flock instead of just American and Continental breeds. Thanks!
