Please share any braids that you've done on a horse/pony!
This is partially for fun and partially for inspiration for anyone interested in braiding :)
NO CRITICISM!!!
If you want feedback, ask for it. If someone doesn't specifically ask for feedback, don't give it! (Of course compliments are fine 🙂)
Follow BYC rules, and just be nice to people.
Looking forward to seeing y'all's pony braids! 😃

Does anyone have any tips for dealing with the little fuzzies at the top of his tail? I don't really like how messy they make it look.

I don't know if it is horse safe, but Got2Be freeze gel is *the* strongest hold I've used before.

A natural alternative would be egg whites, and Elmer's glue is also a non-toxic option (you would water it down slightly.)

Considering you're working with white hair, I would also use a slight amount of purple food dye mixed in. Not enough to see as purple or grayish, but just enough to brighten the white.

Also, taking a closer look, if you wanted them braided in rather than gelled down, you can take a long piece of white or off white thread, make a downward facing U and then line up with the baby hairs. Make micro braids until the longer hair is available and then use the micro braid as 1 of the three legs of each side braid.

That's really smart, thanks for the idea!

Oh yeah, I think I've heard of people using egg whites before, though I've personally never tried it. Thanks for your help!
