Agreed!!!

It's far easier for me to pick a way ward horse "apple" out of the stall than to touch a wet, gooshey pile of stinky chicken poop.

I mean I LOVE babies, but wouldn't dare barehandedly clean out a baby diaper..

Who said it was in the diaper when you have to pick it up. Ah yes, potty training memories.

I will pick it out if it's dry, but I need a shovel if it's wet.

Are you telling me that this is not normal

I don't dig in to the wet stuff with my bare hands but if it's dry or stuck to shavings I pick it out.

We have a little garden fork right next to the egg box... so I haven't had to touch any poo on purpose. Not that grossed out about it, just would rather not. Now hubby... he is the one that put the garden fork there, he is more poo-phobic than I.

Rob, you think chicken poop is gross, one time at work (vet tech) I reached my hand in my pocket to get my pen, only to find a cat poo covered pen....now THAT was disgusting!!!

If dry I'll pick it up. If it's wet I use a glove.

Sometimes I pick it out with my hand & some extra shavings, sometimes with an old soup spoon I keep above the nest boxes for just that thing--poop flinging!
