POOP boards 101. Teach me.

Thank you. I have, with no success. Everything garden is being replaced with everything Christmas so maybe I'll have some luck in the spring. I will not give up.

I'm gonna try out the stall dry for a season and if I'm not completely satisfied, I'm going to see if one of our feed stores will order the PDZ in for me. No one around here has even heard of it. I was surprised to find the stall dry after searching for 'something, anything' for weeks. I'm stoked.

I haven’t tried the stall dry yet but am using the fresh coop and like it so far.

Thanks for the pdz tips. I found some stall dry at shur gain but that was as close as I can get. The poop boards should be finished tomorrow. Can't wait to see it all completed

Just having a poop board without PDZ saves a ton of time. With 9 of our 11 laying now, the Mrs. has chosen to scrap the Non-PDZ board daily because the poop gets SOOO much more once they start laying, but it does help with overall hygiene of the coop house as the poop is in one place to collect. Me, I only scrap it 2 or 3 times a week and no problems when the Mrs. isn't home.

Home Hardware has Fresh Coop, in 3 kg shaker and 9 kg bag. I won't be getting chickens until the spring, but my plan is simply to go to my local store and order it. Truck comes once a week, so depending what day I order, it's fairly quick. (Our store is tiny, I end up having to order things a few times a year.)
