I've watched many dogs go through chemo therapy and to be perfectly honest I wouldn't do it. Only extends the life a year or so and there are always side effects to deal with that I wouldn't want my dog to go through. Not fair to him because he wouldn't understand why he felt so bad.

With the pain meds available to day you can keep your pet comfortable. Remember, he doesn't really know he has cancer, and he will really enjoy the extra attention. Sending courage your way.
