Aw, poor Gloria

Her poor legs *wince*. I recently had a chicken with a respiratory disease and I also gave her Tylan 50, and it cleared right up! Good luck!

NOOOOO NOT GLORIA! She is my favorite stink-eye chicken. I love Gloria so much. I hope she gets better soon.

UPDATE:

Gloria is doing pretty well, she is still favoring that leg and the open wound doesn't look much better. But I did treat it with more Hydrogen Peroxide, which should clean up any infections. But the poor girl is in great pain from the HP and just the original pain of the leg. I added Apple cider vinegar, Vet RX and some Garlic to their water, all of which to boost their immune systems. DE is in their food and oyster shells and grit as well. I'm doing everything I can for Gloria, I just hope its enough.

Question: Do you guys think I should wrap it and put some iodine on it? Or just leave it open and put HP on it everyday?

I'm not too sure wrapping is good, but a week ago , my Salmon Favorelle Roo somehow cut 3 toes and was bleeding pretty good.

I didn't use any HP but I did spray Blukote on his foot real good.

It is an antiseptic and liquid bandage !!

It cleaned and protected his toes while still letting air help heal it.

I also keep that emergency powder on hand if Anyone in my family , chicken , human etc, get a bad cut since that stuff stops bleeding right away.

Got both at TSC

Hope it helps. !!
