The first time my Silkie went broody, she was fine. The second time, not so much. I'm not sure what changed, but anytime she moved one of the others would run over and attack her. If you can manage to get her a friend or two, and give them their own spot, that is what you should do.

My Silkie has been broody before, and after her broodiness, she wasn't bothered by the other chickens at all.

She is recovering nicely and laid an egg yesterday, so I guess she is settled once again. She seems to like having the whole coop to herself!
