poor poor silkie ( good news )

thanks so so much i put it in a nest box and locked the nest box off i put food and water in there with it to will it be ok to keep it in a nest box

How hot is it where you are? How much ventilation is in there? I was more thinking about bringing it into the house...I don't think that you can keep her locked in the nest box for up to two weeks for her to recover...she will need to be able to move around and get fresh air, etc

ok sorry i thought the treatment would only take 24 hour ok if i get a box and bring her in the house would that be fine

I would use a plastic container...I think the size I like to use is the 105 quart one. So, your box would need to be pretty good sized. I like the plastic so that I can clean them and reuse as often as necessary.

ok thanks so much for your help i just got a box and i am bringing it into the house. most my little 3-4 month old chicks stay in the run and never in the hen house but at night they are and now the chick with the wry neck has been staying in the hen house and some of my other buff silkie are staying with it should i put one other buff silkie in the box with the wry neck chicken to keep it company

You could. When mine had this problem, I gave it a friend...it really helped when I reintroduced them back in with the others...and they kept each other company in the mean time.

thanks so much and thanks to everyone who has answered to me you all have helped alot thanks
