Aww, maybe it's a FRAZZLE. That's when you breed two frizzles together. The offspring will have thin, low quality feathers, and often they're unhealthy. I can't really see from the pic very well, but she might be a frazzle.

I was so excited, because I have a frizzle polish rooster, and I bought him two frizzle cochin hens. (all bantams). Then I come to find out that it's bad mojo to breed two frizzles. One should be frizzle while the other is smooth. I had no idea. Oh well. No breeding for these guys.....

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. When I seen her I thought about all neat looking sizzles she could be mama to. Breed her to a good breeder quality silkie rooster( perhaps a blue splash or splash) Great looking hen.

LOL she is very sweet. I doubt I will be breeding her though.....silkies creep me out.

I would have liked for her to be my brooder but she saw some chicks the other day and FREAKED OUT!!! Flung herself at the sides of the pen to get away and they weren't that close.

She may feel differently when she becomes broody and has her own chicks. Have you ever seen the sizzles?
