but do keep an eye on the others - if it was cocci, they probably all have it, and you might want to treat the others as was suggested in an earlier post. best of luck!

yes i have ordered so food whick will come tomo so they will all be treated , thanks for advice

Hi, just want to make sure you know that the medicated food will not treat cocci - it only prevents it if they do not have it. There isn't enough amprolium in it. The best thing to buy is Corid, and do a 5 course treatment.
 
I haven't heard of pasty butt having a strong correlation with coccidiosis, though maybe it does. I know newborn chicks do commonly die just from their poop getting backed up when their vents are clogged. I'm not sure what generally causes the pasty stickiness, but I haven't heard mention of cocci as a potential culprit.
