From the look on the vet's face, I'd say it was a record weight for her practice, anyway!
I put her antibiotic cream on this am and notices she she has a split in the top layer of her crop skin a few inches below the incision -- I decided just to put ointment on it and keep watch rather than head back to the vet.
My first thought was that the mouse tried to escape..
But seriously, her crop skin was probably so stretched from crop stasis that it is going to have weak spots for a while..
I am thinking of trying to put those peri strips on it -- that will allow air in but help the split heal back together.. and I a just hoping she doesn't develop any more splits..
