@Chickenhappy8708 thanks for the tag! @Jen76322 I’m sorry your chicky is sick, I can’t offer advice for that, I’ll leave that to the more experienced members, but I have a 15 week old rooster who went blind at around 9 weeks. We have no idea why for sure. Otherwise he appears to be happy and healthy and he lives with 3 hens. As long as they know where their food is and the coop doesn’t change much I have found it’s not an issue. I had to move the ramp to their roost inside the run, I showed him where it was and he adjusted fine to the move. As long as your hen moves past her sickness I believe she can adjust to life happily being blind.

Yes, having a companion would help her, especially if she needs a separate enclosure. Though if she can find food, water an safety on her own that should not be necessary.
