They finally went out! I think my adults have taken to her! The female made a nest right by the brooder! Is this a good sign?

Also the male is guarding the female and babies!! Have the parents adopted them?

Yes, in a real deep voice and she was really slow when she was walking.

Deep voice, a bit like a growling cat is a very good sign. My duck Nona was talking to my ducklings in a deep voice too and now she is the only one of my Indian Runners hanging out with them.
