I am so sorry to hear Willow, You and your Family is going thru this terrible time. I will say Prayers that Willow has some good times to come yet. Best luck. Praying for all of You.

As hard as it will be I am NOT going to take the cot and sleep in the store with Willow. Abnormal actions will just make things worse for him I believe. He already knows that mom and dad are upset, so as much as I don't want to, I have to let him be where he's comfortable and what he's used to.

Tears come and exhaustion will set in, but I must do what's best for HIM, not what's best for ME and often that's so darn hard. Normalcy is one of the toughest things to do for a pet when all you wish is to fawn over them and will them better.

There is no preparation, there is only knowing, and waiting and hoping.

Love ya Willow... sleep well and we will see you in the morning.

Tho he is still with us, he's on the downhill slide. No food for 2 days, and tho he is drinking and pottying, he is very lethargic. He isn't in pain and he's alert when we are around him. Tis only a matter of time at this point.

I am so sorry. Poor fellow he looks so tired.

You know he just doesn't feel well.

I know this is so hard for you, I've been there and it never gets easier.

They are our family and mean the world to us. Here's my support and hugs of encouragement.

He'll give you that 'Its time for me to go mom' look, and you'll bawl and do what needs to be done, but you'll always have the knowledge he had a good life and he didn't suffer needlessly.

Scared of Shadows, you're absolutely right, we will know, as we have before. I won't allow him to be in pain, even tho it causes me pain.
