she was only sitting two eggs. i tried to break her broody and gave up so i only let her have two and for the first time ever, its a 100% hatch rate. hahahahha

Thank you! I meant different colors of Coturnix. I'm probably crazy for adding a bunch of baby birds to the things I already can't keep up with! The diapered baby just learned to crawl and the 4-year-old can't seem to remember to keep her scissors off the floor!

I agree with cold over hot after all you can only take off so many articles of clothing before either being propositioned or arrested. The first can be a "good thing" Finding more live roo's so far only 1 roster-cicle. But the farm cats are happy. Waste not want not.

when i lived in Mi. just across the border into canada, the woman there could walk in public shirtless, yet here people have a great debate about breast feeding their children in public. never stopped me.

How do you "break a broodie" I just move them to another box and take their eggs a couple times a day. Haven't figured out how they can collect or let other hens contribute eggs when they won't get out of the nest. No way they can lay that often.
