good luck all on the eggs in the bators!! Hope you are all warmer then here its -17 with a windchill making it 50 below. Chickens should start laying freeze-dries eggs soon. LOL
have you ever incubated? its tons of fun !! btw, i accidently bought 2 loaves of bread when i already had 2 . hehehhe

I swear I haven't left! It's been a pretty awful week, to be honest. My stepdad's mother passed away.Things have been pretty dumpy, so the quail were on hold until recently. They WILL arrive in the mail sometime this week. Probably Tuesday or Wednesday. I've got five more little morpington eggs in the incubator, so they'll probably hatch around the same time as the quail. Wanted to go to the asian supermarket today to test those fertile eggs, but the car was occupied. It will have to wait again. :(

Anyway, Pip and her pals are doing well despite some ups and downs. We did have a fatality, unfortunately. One of the morpingtons was failing to thrive, so we made the hard decision to dispatch her. Since moving the last bantam inside, that hawk has all but disappeared. I'll probably see him again come spring, but I'll be prepared. Pictures of Pip and her friends are coming soon! As well as some pictures of some new additions to the household. My cat had kittens two days ago! They're so sweet.

the only thing I have incubated are cold and flu germs. Let my hens raise this years crop. So sad about sarkism hope she gets better soon. No such thing as to much bread, LOL

no, im going to try the bread pudding. whats better, stale or fresh? am i supposed to leave it in the air to dry out? getting hungry thinking about it. if i wasnt so tired i would give it a shot tonight . are you sick?

Stale is better for pudding.
Quail take 17 days
Thats Terrible news about starkasm .. how hideous, miserable, but nice to stay inside in the warm.

Never too much bread...mmmm garlic bread....

Summer here. Sending you warm thoughts
