that does sound like fun. wish i would of had more art schooling. i never learned 3-d and i love, love charcoal.its so forgiving.of course i use the color too but my hands are betraying me now and my work station is put away in the cabin. lucky, lucky you

I can't stand charcoal. Gets all over my hands and makes a mess. I prefer a nice, hard pencil.

By the way, Cheyen, when you ordered your button eggs were they nicely packed? Marked fragile and all that? I'm considering ordering some, those are really pretty eggs (if the birds that come out of them are just as pretty, even better).

Wow! That's a really good packing method. I think I'm going to have to order some of these... well, once I figure out where to put the birds.

Neither can I. Remember to post pictures of them! Now I just need to figure out how to build an outdoor climate controlled aviary... Then I'll definitely try to get around to ordering some. They look like mini Easter eggs!

Hmm... could work as long as the garden is netted over so they don't fly away, and they don't ever come in contact with a chicken.

Yeah, that was my plan. Build a big screen porch type thing around the garden. The chickens are on lockdown in the shed right now. Someone's been setting dogs loose, and I don't like it.

Setting dogs loose? What is wrong with people?? Well, that could work. I think I'd just have to temporarily use the heated finch aviary and then build a larger, heated aviary later. I think that button quail have somehow magically shifted to #1 on my "get more birds" crusade.
