Possible Guinea Eggs in "Quail" Batch?

it looked like all white meat to me. do you rinse the meat after you soak it?

I do unless its liver then after a couple of changes of the milk I just brown it as is or you can bread/coated in your choice of seasoned flour or what ever you like. I know Partridge is dark meat as is duck & goose (wild) also grouse (very gamey unless the salt method is used) and pheasant is white meat. Teradragon maybe your girls were just waiting for more room before they laid their eggs. Do you use nest boxes or do they just lay where ever they feel like it. Either that or you put the fear of "god" in to them and they figured they had better get busy.

Haha, I think it was the space issue too with the laying. I had a shoe box in there. There was a nest with 2 eggs and one was outside the box. I'm not sure what colour the meat is yet. They are in the fridge with oil, balsamic vinegar, salt and paprika. I have read about brineing (sp?) Them, but didn't actually do it. Eating them for evening meal friday, which is today.

Something woke me up and now I'm very awake... Might go and get a drink!

Also Granny, ladies want nice bums to put into their skinny jeans and tight fitting dresses!

Had a lady ask me for fertile eggs today, now to figure out what they cost! Of course I have no idea how fertile they are yet.

As for fertile eggs, can you crack a couple and check that disc thing on the yolk? Should Google it. Or just give her some to try, like 6.

my computer is running like a slug. if i dont get someone to straighten this thing up pretty soon you all will be able to have some peace. i have 23 babies this morn. one hatched last night and i hear more. i dont know why the dragged out hatch but they are all healthy. now i know why the big todo about the skinny jeans, i was born at 11lbs.12 1/2 oz. and just kept going from there. i never owned a pair of 'skinny' jeans. i always had to put my 'big girls' pants on. hahahah we are still trapped in the house with no end in sight. next week it is supposed to get 40 may be it will melt enough to get in the car. if not we have plenty of chicken wings to eat.(they dont fly any way) as far as that show being sponsored by the goverment, that wouldnt surprise me. we are a nation of fatties on food stamps. how dare our starving children take money out of the politicians pocket.

How long has it taken these slugs to hatch now? Two days? They need to get a move on!
