Yep there's a white bantam named "Cheerios", a black bantam named "Coco puffs" and I think it was a day or two after this video was taken that "Kix" came along - also a black bantam. They are barnyard bantam/silkies. The daddy is the one on my avatar and the mama is a white silkie

These eggs are a little different looking than the ones from before. They're a bit bigger, and more fat towards the tip. It's really interesting to see the differences between two breeders' eggs.

Putting two eggs on lockdown today. I've been dry incubating the chicken eggs in anticipation of the chukars. That way 45-50% humidity should be just fine for them to hatch! Plus, I just found out how to take the turning trays out one by one. I can just take one row out and let the other eggs keep turning. I feel so efficient!

I have some orps, yeah. Only one buff right now, though. I'm trying to get into lavender and white right now. I have a few lavender hens, but no roo right now. So I'm not hatching any orp eggs until I get one. What's LF?
