Did you get adults, granny?

I picked some lemon balm to make some perfume, and accidentally pulled up half the plant! I took it to my room to recover, but I don't know what I'm gonna do with two huge plants. Lemon balm can be worse than spider grass!

you have my attention cheyan, how do you make perfume and what kind of plants are they???? i would like to give that a try !

It's really easy to do, but you have to let nature take its course, so it can take a while. You can use flowers or herbs to make perfume, but I have an herb garden because flowers make my nose feel stuffy, lol. Just pick whatever you like, soak it in any kind of cooking oil in a jar overnight (leave it in a sunny place), and in the morning replace whatever you put in it with fresh stuff. You keep doing that every day until the oil smells like whatever you put in. It can take two weeks or so. Voila! Those are essential oils!

Then you take some alcohol (the kind you drink, so mom does this part, lol) and mix it with your scented oil. It can be any kind of alcohol but beer, since that smells too strong. Leave it over night for the oils to dissolve in the alcohol. In the morning, take a dropper and remove any left over oil from the jar. The "alcohol" is your perfume! I use vodka because it doesn't leave any smell, but wine smells nice, too. I use empty perfume bottles to store mine. It's pretty easy to do, especially since you're old enough to handle the alcohol yourself, lol.

so the booze and oil mix together but there will be some left over? can you just leave the flowers in for a couple days or it has to be fresh every day?
