Possible Guinea Eggs in "Quail" Batch?

Most of the oil and scent should dissolve in the alcohol, but there will be some oil leftover. It probably won't be much, but it doesn't look very pretty in clear perfume bottles, lol. I like to remove all the blemishes. It's probably best to replace the flowers every day, but it won't hurt to do it every other day. I alternate depending on how my plants look. Although, with herbs you don't have to worry about that since they're the rabbits of the plant world, lol.

I'm not calling you old, granny. Just over 21.

You use one cup of every type of herb/flower you choose. That means if you want something like lavender/mint you need one cup of lavender and one cup of mint. That makes it so the smells mix, rather than one overpowering the other. When you replace it with fresh herbs/flowers, you still need to use another cup. For the oil, you need just enough to cover the amount of stuff you put in. For the alcohol, you'll need at least 1/4 cup.

I'm not sure what grows up there, but I think hydrangeas, wisteria, and butterfly blossoms all grow for quite a while. But you can use anything that smells good! You can use orange peels, dandelions, cinnamon sticks... you get the idea.

tons of the old fashion honeysuckle here, love their smell !! so it doesnt make a lot at one time. my sister bought me a bottle of amaretto when she was here. i can use that. almond , christmas gifts.

I've never squeezed the flowers out. It just adds greenish brown muck to your oil, and I don't like it. There's no harm in doing it, though.
