Well, one of the chukars always looks like it's a little... slow. He swivels his head and leans when he walks. It's been like that since he hatched. Well, today I finally decided to get a close look at him. He's blind in one eye! Poor little fella. He eats and drinks just fine. Hopefully he can do okay with just one eye, lol.

Well, I've got the A-frame set up for them. I still need to re-apply some weatherproof stain. What age do you send your outside, starkasm? I know they're still way too young right now, lol.

I have my little newborns outside today. It's HOT! And yesterday it was too cold to work outside. News flash: our spring us more an average of days...super hot and super cold on different days evens out to a nice average of weather but no bueno for those of us who live here!

love the white fluffy ones, look like old time powder puffs that ladies kept at their bureaus. I just wanna run up to them and yell "make up" and see if they create a cloud of powder/dust.

Lost an australorp chick yesterday. Not sure why the res are running churpping/peeping and stopping by tripping over their own feet, someone else's , bouncing off feeders/waters/ walls. Hope everyone has a great weekend.
