Possible Guinea Eggs in "Quail" Batch?

Well power back on the brooder got down to 87 but hoping they will be ok as they are a week old. I have a couple hens who stand out side the pop door and cock their heads listening to the peepers not sure it they are thinking dinner or babies that need mothering. Hasn't seemed to encourage any of them to go broody tho. Grey and rainy day here, so funny as in the paper the county announced a burn ban !!! Need way more chlorine in the gene pool around here for the locals. Uffda Had to call animal control yesterday one of the rooms that I evicted had snuck a kitten into the room and then they left it. Was hiding between the bedframe and the wall NOT friendly at all. To small to take out to the farm and release. So no other option.

HOpe you all have a great day.

This thread is addictive, massive and contagious! I love it! Hi to everyone! I never understood "hatching fever" but I swear I've contracted it because of this thread! 24 quail eggs in bator #1 and picking up 12 tuxedo eggs Saturday for bator #2 rofl while trying to find local button eggs

Granny you'll appreciate this,
The PO strikes again.
My baby geese left Scarborough (about 3 hours away) at 5 am yesterday morning...then nothing....
I called everywhere possible and still nothing.
Finally at 4pm my PO calls and says they are in Hampden at the sorting facility about a hour away!
Hubby had to go to work so then I had to find someone to go get them. My poor nephew, was on his way to go out to dinner with his girlfriend and her mom, but went and rescued them for me! (I owe him a dinner!)
A little after six pm I finally had them!!

Luckily all nice and safe and sound whew.......

Just wait until you start dreaming of mashed potatoes with butter. That was when I gave up the atkin's thing . Best of luck!!!!!!!
I've blagged my PT and I'm allowed some carbs now, so got a sweet potato down my face asap! Hahahah.

I wasn't managing very well... couldn't focus at work, and I really need to on my self employed stuff. Nobody wants to pay £30 an hour for a spaced out IT Technician!

It's almost 90 out today. I think it's the perfect weather to take out the chukars again. I've been calling them all "chuckies" lately, lol.

Dear Client,
Sorry everything was messed up this week. I needed some freakin carbs!.... at least that's my theory.

The sponsors here have a different approach....they encourage you to hatch more!! :)
