Possible Guinea Eggs in "Quail" Batch?

I have a few from last week when she hatched to hold you guys over.

Silly girl fell asleep in the egg carton... her incubator's lid broke when I dropped it (oopsies), so she spent the first night with the dinosaur eggs.

What a diva.

Phew, that took ages! Apologies for the low quality... unfortunately, the lighting in my house is less than ideal at night.

Her favorite spot to be when she's cheeping and being fussy is on my bed.

Just wanted to show off how much she's grown. Only a week old, and look at those wings!

must be a lot of chicks that look alike i have 2 that look like her and they are silkie mix and the only reason i know that is because of 5 toes

I guess chicks are pretty ambiguous unless you know exactly where they came from. I'd imagine your silkie mixes are pretty small... Pip's parents are definitely far from small, so she's already a big girl!

Wing feather size determines the sex. Girls feather fast and boys feather slowly... about half the rate of the girls. I know it's hard to tell in the picture, but her wings aren't black. Her mommy carries the partridge gene, so it looks like she got some of that.
