Possible Guinea Eggs in "Quail" Batch?

did you see where that chick of mine got its shoes off again? all thats left is a bunch of really strong tape. thats gonna be fun !

The chick should be fine with a crooked toe. If it won't leave the tape on, don't bother. It won't affect egg laying and it won't affect it's babies.

even though the toe is sideways? ive never seen that before. i thought because it will be a heavy breed it would end up crippled ? the toe lays on the side when it walks and curls in. i guess it would go flat if it was turned the way it should be

You have to scroll down a bit to see the picture of Windy. She apparently does just fine with a crooked toe.

It's pretty late here, so I should hit the hay. G'night, granny!

Good luck with those toes!

Sorry bout the kits, people used to bring me little waifs and strays. Sometimes theyre just to sick or small. Hugs honey.

Cheyen have you considered hatching an emu egg? Now that would really be like hatching a dinosaur. Sorry to hear about the kittens, If the mother is young there will be more chances for her to have some nice healthy babies in the future.

How cool would it to hatch an emu egg. I told my sister when her's starts laying I want one!!
Takes almost 2 months to hatch though. That's a commitment!
