My gashed, holed Barred Rock seems to be doing okay. Originally I though she had a couple puncture wounds but later inspection my hubby noticed the big 3 inch gash! Her skin is just ripped and you can see meat. Looks like she'll be inside for a while. But she's doing okay

you gonna learn a running stitch? bet i could do that. i do alot of stuff that grosses most people out but i dont do diapers or puck. cant handle that

i dont know how i got my kids raised. speaking of did i tell you my husband broke his tail bone in the coop ? good thing i do the deep litter method ( i think thats just another way of saying i dont clean it out, i just cover it up) hehe

Our new coop is almost finished. I haven't decided what I'm going to do yet. I like the sound of don't clean it, cover it though!! LOL
I can do dirty diapers, but not spit up or drool. Your kid drools and you're getting it back!

Ouch... tail bones HURT, not sitting down, makes me squirm thinking about. Wrecked mine coming off a horse 30 years ago.... still has days I dance instead of sit, and I like sitting.

funny funny woman ! the baby is better, i gave it some tylan last night and went shopping today for the duramycin but haven't used it yet. it was such a fast improvement with the tylan i am thinking i should continue it.

Its worse than christmas ever is, I have children, cue random unanticipated objects of desire.

( actually I love that Hilarious and sweet window into their view of me.. polyresin ornaments are high on their favorite things, parrots on sticks inhabit my house plants)

Must go find a chicken first aid kit thread. Its Such a relief to have this place to visit with my cup of tea and soak in the accumulated knowledge.
