Looks like another school delay today. I won't be going in until 12! What's the point of even going if it's just for three hours?

Temperatures are actually in the negatives today, no wind chill taken into account. My joints hurt, and my muscles ache. School needs to close today!

do you have arthritis at such a tender age? i used to let my kids stay home when school was like that but i heard about it from the teachers too. i had to put two tall pillows against my bator and drape a thin blanket over them to maintain the temp in there

cheyen, i did not tell you ,I am very sorry for the loss of your step grandmother. how very rude of me. i think it took a min. for me to realize your "stepfathers mother" was indeed your grandmother. the only grandma i remember was my mothers mom and boy was she something !! taught me a lot. the women in our family live to ripe old ages. i think she was 90 when she passed. and just as frisky as a 30 yr. old. lol

Don't worry about it, granny. I really didn't know her too well, though it is sad she's gone. She had a very young son for her age, he's 14. Mostly I'm just worried about him. He's going to have to stay with someone else because his dad is gone, too.

And, no, I don't have have arthritis, lol. I do have a few genetic joint issues. My thumbs extend at a weird angle when I straighten them out, and they get sore when it gets really cold. I use ace bandages to help, so I'm okay.
