Possible Guinea Eggs in "Quail" Batch?

There are a few breeds that I know of with beards. Americaunas, easter eggers, d'uccles, faverolles, and I think auracuanas? Or however that's spelled. Olive eggers can also have beards depending on who the parents are.

When I walk up to the broader the chicks see me and scramble over to the front where I have their "nest." (Towards me) Are they afraid of that I'm gonna steal their nest and are being protective or are they thinking the only reason I approach is if there's danger and they need to come to me to protect them?
It's cute, but I wanna make sure I'm not stressing them out.

Not sure if it's okay to talk about it here or not.

d'unccles sort of like d-neice or d-nephew, or d-aunt. LOVE it Norwegian slang.

i am afraid you are scaring them, and they are running to their mama, (nest). try singing to them and walking slower. let them get used to your voice.

i have a very hard decision to make. 75 carriers outside, 26 health chicks inside. i wanted to breed and sell. i dont think i will ever be able to have such a beautiful flock again. some very rare and beautiful birds out there
