Possible Guinea Eggs in "Quail" Batch?

silly questions but will the soil and the outside coops carry or hold on to the infection or germs??? HOw would one sterilize a chicken yard?? Can you vaccinate the new chicks?? Will your infected one still lay healthy NON-infected hatchable eggs??

they dont go out, they have a large coop and humongous run. i have heard its not too hard to disinfect and wait a month. since i havent had them tested i cant say if i can use their eggs but i belive they have coryza and that means yes, i can incubate them. there is a vaccine for coryza too but its a pain. it just shouldnt be this hard. i have been treating for about a month now. if it is crd then i cant use the eggs and i cant find who is supposed to test in my area.

What are they carriers of? I missed that part. What's your plan?

Also, they run towards me, I thought if they were afraid they would run to the back of the brooder. They just heard a dog bark outside and started cheeping really loud, so I looked at them and sang the bok-bok song that I sing to them when they are curled up under my chin sleeping and they stopped cheeping. I love these little brats. Who knew chickens were so awesome? Well, other than you guys of course!

they will hatch. some maybe dwarf, im not real sure. i just hatched some. they look fine. some are little though. i think they would have to be tested. i have thought this too much and am just confused now. and i was saying they were all healthy babies. i dont know that for sure
