For the chicken butts, you mean? Well if it's chicks, there's not much you can do but clean 'em, lol. I hear some people put dirt in their chick's brooders, because it somehow prevents pasty butt. I'm not sure how.

It is not a breed, it's a cross between two breeds for egg production.

Well, this chick is something else. Still not walking properly, has a lumpy face, and a big fat dewlap. I swear that thing is like a built it pillow when he lays down. At least he's loud and lively! Been calling him Quasimodo.

Looks like he won't be alone, either! I hear more peeps coming from the silkie and marans egg. Lucky them, since I had just put them in a bowl to throw away. It's a good thing they were loud! I wonder what's making them all hatch late, though.
