Public tv had aired Fauwlety towers. About a husband and wife (prunella scales) running a small hotel. I think that Manuel was my favorite character he not speak or understand English so good. Also Polly the only one who seems to have a grip in reality. Excellent show reminds me of my motel in a lot of ways

Somehow that description reminds me of one of the plays I saw at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. I think it was called "The Cocoanuts".
