Its the first time the bator has been opened since i ut them in and only for a second. wonder what is the earliest you could see? they are very light brown and one white . i should of looked at that one i guess. maybe tomorrow. LOL

I think the earliest you can see is five days to a week.

I'm sure out of nine eggs you've got at least one or two fertile! How well were they packaged? Besides, it isn't too hot or too cold, so the weather probably didn't kill them. I guess the only way they could've died is if one of the UPS workers was throwing it around or something.

he wrapped them in paper towels and laid them on their side in a one quart plastic water bottle. he taped the bottle to the side of the box with the chickens in it. they couldnt roll in there . when i looked they all looked good except for a bit of porous shell . I didnt see ant air cell detachment and they got here when they were supposed to. I did loan my ator to someone and it came back very dirty and it stunk like something dead. i cleaned it really good and used bleach water but i can still get a faint smell of what ever that was. it was full of some type of egg shell like roaches maybe but now i wonder if it was dried up maggots. never again for sure.

I candled last night on day 5 . i have 4 spiders !! 1 ring and 4 clear. not tossing anything because of the day but i am happy with what i have. maybe i will end up w/ a pr.

or even a trio !!

i put the paint can there for size . the hen is very tiny. in the pics they do look bigger then they are for some reason. all of them. i thought they looked the same too until i seen w/ my own eyes. i am hoping the eggs hatch w/ some color. i picked this girl up the other day. have no idea what she is and i have the roo for her but was kinda wondering about giving her to the serama roo.
