I have two chickens of the EXACT same description so I will describe as one for simplicity’s sake.
I have an 11-week old Brahma hen that I think has hip dysplasia. Her right hip is looser and sits further back than the right, and when she walks, the right leg is further out from her body and she walks on the side of her foot. (Picture attached of her normal standing position)

I noticed this a month ago but thought maybe all the mud was making her wobbly. Now I realize that this seems to be an injury/defect.
I have two girls that are exactly like this, my seven other hens are different breeds and have no trouble. I have never had Brahmas so I don’t know if I was supposed to treat them differently?
I’d like to treat them myself if possible. Does anyone have recommendations on treating this?

Welcome To BYC

Do you have photos of them so we can see the whole chicken?

11 weeks old - the feet are of an 11week old?

To me, there's Scaly Leg Mites, you'll want to apply some vaseline, oil or NuStock cream to the legs a few times a week for at least a month or so to help heal them up.

What do the bottom of the feet look like? Looks like the foot is a bit irritated - any signs of debris accumulation in the crevices of the bottom of the foot, scabs, etc.?

What do you feed, including treats?

I can’t get great photos but here’s a picture of both girls. Both of them have the issue with their right foot.

The bottoms of the feet are what I think is a normal level of dirty (there’s a lot of mud right now), and I don’t see any glaring signs of infection or scabbing.
They were all in a coop with my meat birds up until last week, so I am transitioning them out of meatbird crumbles into layer pellets.
If you need any more info or pictures, let me know :)

If they are only 11 weeks old, they need to be eating Chick Starter. Layer pellets are for actively laying pullets and hens.

Do you have the nutritional analysis of the meatbird crumbles they were being fed?
Possible the leg issues are due to nutrition, it's hard to know.

I'd get them on chick starter and also give some vitamin therapy. Give each pullet 1/4 tablet B-Complex daily. Just pull down on the wattles to open the beak and pop the piece of tablet into the beak and let the bird swallow.

And yes, I'd like to see the bottom of the feet.
