Possible lymphoid leucosis neoplastic tumor + Update: Not injury. Confirmed to be a tumor

That's the purpose of this thread. These tumors are pretty common, but a lot of people will be experiencing it for the first time. Hopefully they will get an idea of how it will progress. I also want to reduce the amount of fear this discovery can unleash. This should show that it's not an immediate death sentence. In fact, I've had two chickens with tumors, and this and the other chicken lived a good number of normal years after the discovery of their tumors.
Thank you so much for all the documentation and information. I am sure it will help so many of us should we experience this with our flocks.

Tootsie seems to be holding his own, especially after I resumed giving him a Serapeptase capsule each morning followed by a Reiki session.

Serapeptase has been shown to slow the growth of squamous cancers, and the Reiki has helped diminish his pain so he's spending more time on his feet than before.

I learned Reiki around thirty years ago from two Reiki masters. They arrived at my house just as I was recovering from surgery on my feet to correct a congenital deformity. I was in so much pain I could barely use my feet. Their Reiki treatments dramatically reduced my pain.

They then taught me how to do it. I was later visiting a friend who had several aging labs. The oldest dog was like Tootsie, in so much pain from arthritis that he only could lie around all day. I did some Reiki on him, and the result was utterly life changing for him. The single treatment caused him to start playing with the other dogs again, and later my friend told me he was still acting like a happy dog weeks later.

I've only been giving Toots Reiki for four days now. The result is that he is spending more time on his feet instead of lying down all day. As I treat him, he lies perfectly still. I keep up the Reiki until I feel the pulsing of blood in his leg and foot. The results last all day.

Anyone else do Reiki on their animals?
