Unfortunately, I don’t know what antibiotic is best for injuries, dog bites specifically. Can you ask at TSC?

Here is a link for Fish Mox (amoxicillin) that may be in stock at TSC:

Dosage is 250 mg twice a day for 5-7 days.

I prefer using the amoxicillin, but if that is not available, they sell procaine penicillin G injectable along with syringes and needles (3 ml syringes with 20 gauge needles.) Inject 1/4 ml 1/4 inch deep once a day for 4-5 days.

Thanks. I ran around crazy to get needles, they don't sell them at TSC here. Finally got some and the penacillin. Got home, irrigated the wound and covered it. Tried giving her some nutridrench and she passed :-( thanks for all of the help. At least I have more stuff on hand now. And I raised the fence another 4 feet to prevent them from flying out in the future.

I am very sorry that you lost her. I also lost a pullet to our dog when she flew over a 4 foot chainlink fence. That's exactly what happened. I let the dogs out not knowing she was there. We added poultry fencing over the top of it making it 8 feet now.

Awww. I'm so sorry you lost her. I know it can hurt if they are pets. I think you are taking the right attitude; acknowledging that you are now more prepared (with supplies) for injuries in the future.
