Possible Rhode Island Red Cross? Gender?

They work by basically choking the rooster when he tries to crow. I don't think they are a good option. If you can't keep him, it's a good idea to start looking for a new home for him.

Forgot to add- he does look like a Rhode Island red mix. Not purebred. Good luck rehoming him.
