Possible Sour Crop?

I treated an impacted and sour crop.
Isolated bird in crate for 7 days.
Note the tray is under the crate,
so pretty easy to swap out tray for cleaning as necessary.

Mixed coconut oil into crumble the first couple days for the impaction.
I also did some massaging of crop until mass broke up.
Then mixed the miconazole into crumble twice a day for about 6 days.
Because I don't handle or pill my birds much,
We, both the bird and I, found it much easier to mix the stuff into crumble until crumble was saturated.
She gobbled it right down.

Her crop isn't hard as in an impacted crop. It's soft and squishy. She is going on 25 weeks, but for 18 weeks all of my chicks got outdated food. I was told it was current and like an idiot, I didn't double-check the date on the bag.

None of the birds I got is laying yet. In fact, they're still on starter grower, because they were undersized from the poor nutrition.

Her lower belly between her legs is not enlarged. I'll have to feel for spongy or hard next time I go out.

There are no poultry vets closer than Marion or Asheville, NC. I have not used an antifungal. Because there is no sour smell associated with the liquid I expel when I perform the procedure for clearing the crop, I thought it would not be sour crop. I am giving her yogurt and some probiotic powder anyway.

In my way to get the cream. You didn’t mention prescribed amount of actual food on the two feedings. I’d think I would not feed much since she’s still not processing but I wanted to check. She had some regular looking poops overnight but her crop still looks full.
