Aha! I have a gallon jug. How much should I mix in?

Also, don't know which one this came out of, but it makes me happy.

IThe mfg, FDA, and FARAD say to give water medicated at 0.024%. That 0.024% in one gallon is 908.4 mg. The powder is 20%, which means one gram = 200 mg.

One teaspoon of powder weighs 2.7 to 3.0 grams, so 540 to 600 mg per teaspoon, which makes the dose somewhere between 1.68 teaspoons and 1.5 teaspoons per gallon, but Corid is very safe, so one could use as much as 2 teaspoons per gallon, which is why I usually tell people 1/2 teaspoon per quart.

Got it. Since I had been giving so little and they weren't doing HORRIBLY, I decided to try the methods from the blog I found. I added a tablespoon of ACV, a crushed garlic clove and two drops of oregano oil (which I happened to have on hand) to a gallon of water and have them that, then I have them some chopped up parsley and added some cinnamon and oregano to their feed and it steers to be going really well!

Just for the neck of it, I just weighed them and they've gained 20g each since this morning! But is back to doing his boy dance and they have more energy in general.

I'll do this until tomorrow and see their gains. If they're good, I'll keep it up. If not I'll switch to the corid.

This is all a very different learning experience for me, but will well worth it. These guys are precious.
