By their markings. They have faint tan marking here and there. Pekins would be solid yellow as ducklings.

What did the feed store have them marked as? Or where ever you got them from?

The older they get the more tiny tan spots I see. They are just darling.

I could sure use some pointers on what kind of a home I should build them???

I'm not real sure how old they are. I got them at a chicken sale. This man had a bunch of them in a cage with no food and water, so I rescued 2 of them. When I got them on April 28th he told me they were a couple of weeks old. Thanks for the compliment on the Duck/Goose house. That is the first thing my husband and I have built and I thought it came out pretty good. He did most of the work, I was there to hold things for him!

The reason for asking is when folks come on looking for something to go by it's good idea to give dimensions so they can get an idea. Thanks
