I'm lovin all the pics. DH just infromed me last night that he has gotten the "itch" . I have my 2 Pekins (well will be 1 soon, one of them is have severe issues), DD has a Rouen and a Cayuga, and DH wants me to pick him up 3 Mallards . He's hoping is we buy 3 straight run that he'll get at least one boy. I cant wait. I 'll go next week and get them.

Pinky is one of my favorite ducks. So people friendly and comical. She will fly up on top of one of the hen houses and "chirp" at you while bobbing her head. She is a nut.

Both of them are in the middle pic. One on the stairs one sitting in the water. The other one had wandered off eating grass in the mudpuddle pic. I couldn't fit them both in.

Okay when i only saw the one I was worried you might have lost one. they have gotten so big. Looks like you've been getting alot of rain too, a duck and goose dream come true

I just planted grass in the chicken yard so it's being watered a lot. Hubby thinks they need their mud puddle so he waters it too.

They do love playing in it though.

Sadly we had to put down one of our Pekins yestarday, he was half the size of the other Pekin i had gotten the same day. He was having severe nurelogical issues and was no longer capable of eating and drinking. Today our remaining Pekin is 2 weeks old and our Rouen and Cayuga are 1 week old. I dont have a pool yet for them, but since they are little I filled the kids sled with water lol. Well this morning the ducklings finally got brave enough to venture further into the run and found the water. I have put them in it over the weekend but they would run like cray to get back to the coop lol. The chicks I have also became brave and are wandering all over. I couldnt get closer pics of the two little ducklings, they are to fast lol.
