Poultry09 ---- Love the goose pics, I want a goose so bad I may try to hatch a couple after this round of eggs are done.


cskotek ---- My DH likes mallards also. After I got my Pekin and DD got her Mallards he caught the bug and sent me out for 5 more Mallards lol.

I love mallards except since there is wild ones that fly in, the one turned wild and sometimes comes home but hey hes doing his natural thing

Pekin 5 weeks old and 2 Female (I'm assuming) mallards 4 weeks old



5 Mallards 2 weeks old, stayed with the big kids last night and did great. The chicks are 6 weeks old today and they all seem to accept the little ducks just fine.

thanks! I had Rouens before, you may have seen the pics but these Anconas are totally my breed of duck! They're both pretty mellow, and get along with our chickens well. Actually they just discovered how to dive yesterday. So cute...

Update on my mystery ducks! They are 5 weeks old I think maybe older...... If guys know gender or breed please let me know! I think I have two little boys.

Here are some updated pictures of the 2 new ducklings. I am beginning to think they are runners but some are saying they may be cayuga or swedish.

To my untrained eye they look like blue and black swedish to me. or maybe your black one is black cayuga? I don't think they normally have white on them though so I would go with my first guess.

Edited to add-I believe your correct about having two boys. Do either of them have a drake feather yet?
