Blue Belle decided to play in the mucky water today.

That could very well be here it's been raining since last night. Ducks love mud!!

This is the view from our house of the whole coop and run and pond.

Thank you!! It's been in the making for a few years,,I started with nothing in this space of the yard,,it was only a gazebo with not great ground around it..so after getting my 1st chickens and ducks I went through many changes with different set ups for them,,then finally made the enclosure bigger,took over the gazebo and converted it into a fully functional coop..it has plastic along the south side because that's the side the wind is blowing from.(usually)
They had a kiddie pool, but then I got the idea of a real pond,,and that's the way it all began for me..lot's of work,but it makes me so happy

It really does look like a diving board! lol They sure love their pool. My husband is planning on putting in a a small pond on our property this summer. I can't wait to see their reactions to a nice pond! It always makes me smile seeing our ducks playing in the kiddie pool.

They do enjoy and good time in the pool, A pond will be very nice, I won't tell my ducks though or they may be jealous

Your ducks are welcome to take a swim in our pond if they are ever visiting California
