My assortment of feathered legged assortment should arrive on thursday feb 12. I ordered 12 from Ideal Poultry. Any advice would be appreciated as this is my first experence with baby chicks. Have learned bunches from this and other sites.javascript:insert_text('

Just picked up 31 chicks from the feed store yesterday morning!

10 Barred Rocks

1 Surprise EE named "Munki" (couldn't resist......she was the only one out of 200 chicks)

Picked up 2 6 week old Splash Marans Roo's Thursday night to start my Blue and Splash Marans!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait for blue pullets coming soon!!!!!!!

You guys with your farms and your dozens of chicks! I'm so jealous. I live in the city, and we're only allowed to have three chickens. I picked up three silver laced wyandotte day olds yesterday, my first chickens ever. So cute!
