Post Phoenix Pics Please

Even though they don't all have grey legs? I'm so confused! Lol want to know what they are but keep getting conflicting answers locally.

Hi, yes even the green legged ones are silver phoenix. Green legs are a disqualification if you are going to show them but it is a common thing in any color of phoenix. When I first started raising phoenix I had people tell me they were crossed with leghorn or something but that is not true. If you look at many of the onagadori descendants of phoenix you will see that they mostly have yellow or green legs.. You can select away from green legs if you want but many long tail breeders do not. Depends on what you want to do with them. Hope that helps!

So today I got four new Phoenix's. first is another bb red he is amazing and has his white ears.

Well I lost my white and golden phoenix chicks I think they must of got a chill on the hour ride back from where I got them:(. I also lost one of my guineas. But my friend has 17 more phoenix eggs in the incubator so we will see what hatches out.

Next time I will be using hot hands for the ride home. I still have my new bbr Phoenix roo and a silver Phoenix hen but she is gonna be a pet she walks like a penguin. She eats and drinks fine but def not a breeder. I also have 2 months to work on my Phoenix run and coop I am def gonna use sand and boggy bantam said to keep there waterer up on blocks the coop I am planning on making will have a 7 foot peak. My sister is giving me the nieces and nephews trampoline because it is starting to Break at the springs. But the misses got her silver seabrights And my goodness they are beautiful.
