Post Phoenix Pics Please

Thank you. Today though I noticed little red/Cooper feathers growing around his shoulders and top of the head.
I saw colorful old English game roosters that look like him as chicks but he has green legs like Phoenix.
He came from Mcmurray as the surprise chick and it looks like they don't have golden phoenix.
Could he be something else?

He still looks like a phoenix to me.
The operative word here is "hatchery". The only picture was an illustration rather than a picture, and I didn't see a variety listed. It is possible they have both varieties but they are kept like the Ameraucana/Aracauna. The gold feathers could be leakage, a problem for every breeder. My blue ORP pair produce males with gold in the hackles.

Our rooster is almost 6 weeks old and now is growing a lot of red feathers.
They are too much to be just a leakage right?
Do you think he is going to be colorful?
What does he look to be now?

How can i get my phoenix hens go to broody. i want them to hatch some seramas for me

I had the same issue, from my experience it takes a large clutch of eggs in a nest box, just use about 10 golf balls and it needs to be left alone for a while, so I only check on mine in morning and evening and that was the only contact, it took my hen 14 eggs before she sat and now she's sitting she's great and I can go in, check her for parasites etc and she's great, I'm amazed that she being a bantam was able to completely cover 14 eggs.
