Got one out! Had to assist, as it had been stuck since about midnight last night with a pea sized hole and was starting to fluff so I knew it was glued. No idea what color it is, but it sure is cute. Got two more in lockdown, fingers crossed for two more chicks.

Thanks Aubrey. I hope it's not a BB red! It's out of those eggs from you. I'm praying it's the blue gold roo I'm hoping for, or if not that then a gold roo.

Here's a couple fuzzed up pictures. Any ideas, or is it just too tough to tell when they're this young?

if it's out of that set then it's a gold. they are hard to tell apart at that age down wise. so it's gold
on the other end, the golden ones look like silvers as chicks too

My silver phoenix hen started laying again for the first time since august. it's been an egg a day for the last 3 days. Have them in the bator, though i doubt their fertile. i've never seen my rooster do his job, but it's possible.

22 phonixe chicks have hatched I know the white ones are the pyled but what do you think the other ones are any guesses? there are bb reds, silver and golden ducklings, and creled

I have a question. What would be the purpose of breeding Gold to Silver? Just to get better type? Then breed out?
