Mr. Ed, the BB is a tad smaller than the blue. Also, in the first pic, Mr. Eds wings are low, but that's because it was freaking 80 degrees at 9 pm... The weather went from nice to hot in 2 days. It's miserable out there right now. All my birds are walking around with their wings out.The Blue Boy has a longer tail at this point, and his hackles and saddles make me dizzy. Not sure exactly any more what his color should be. I thought at first he was a lemon blue, but he's got what I think is consider crele... the barring?... Anyway. Both are very good and it's time to put them in a bachelor pad... Bummer, but want those tails to grow. Now... can I put them in a bachelor pad by together, or should it be so they are together, but can't fight? They are starting to get frisky with the pullets... Both my golden pullets are gone. I have only one bbr and one lemon blue. OH, that last picture, that is the first time in the few years that I have had chickens that I was able to get a pic of a bird in flight. He was jumping back up to get on the roost. So cool.
Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
