Side note, also currently breeding this blue/red roo to that amazing bbred hen that is in the pic with him.. Been setting the eggs.. These should make some amazing reds. Will be adding ohiki to the mix sometime soon..THANKS TO MY FRIEND TONI-MARIE.

Hiya all

OK so heres a pic of my Phoenix that someone is trying to convince me they are OEG......I also have OEG and they seem pretty different to me....tell me im not nuts here lol. Not the greatest pics but these guys just wont sit still for any length of time

These phoenix chickens are absolutely amazing! I've never had phoenix chickens but have always
been intrigued by them. I have to get me some or at least one. Are the standard version of these
still considered a relatively small bird?

those are phoenix, there are many people in this world who will tell you every bb red bantam bird is an old english, they think bb red is a breed too, same with millie fluers, to a lot of folks, that is the name of a d'uccle...they dont even know the breed name, it's just a millie fluer...HAHA

YEP, havent weighed them, but these blacks have to be on up there pretty good...for what I am used to, they are monsters. But yes in general, standards are smaller large fowl in general
